I found this while browsing through Flickr and fell in love with this little DIY frame from Cottonblue. You can customize it however you would like from the size and colour of the frame to style and type of ribbon. So easy! I just love capturing special treasures in a way that is as charming as this one. Thank you to Cottonblue for a great suggestion! Hope you give it a try!
Things you’ll need:
• antique frame or mirror with glass removed
• ribbon
• stapler
• paint (optional)
• treasures and keepsakes

Super cute, Nyla! Would be a fun project to work on with a little one (the decorating part, of course, not the glass removal part). I am considering modifying it for “big girls” so I can hang it in my own room ;) Maybe less funny blue string, more clear wire and a really captivating landscape. Hmmm..thanks for the inspiration, have a great day!

Thanks Tania and great idea to use wire instead of ribbon to make it a little less ‘cute’. Let us know if you do it ~ would love to see photos!

This is such a great idea! I am in the middle of making a DIY bulletin/inspiration wall and it’s similar to this! Thanks for posting, Nyla.
