design in a box: bright • unique • modern

I recently completed a design in a box for a client that I wanted to share with you. I was really pleased with how it all came together and judging from the email back I think she was too.

“I just wanted to thank you for your work on my living room design.  I love it and I am so excited to make some changes.  I will take some photos when I have everything done so that you can see what it looks like.”

Let’s hope she does because I would love to see the finished room!

Here’s a peak inside her design in a box:

This particular client wanted a bright, unique and modern space. After reviewing colour options with her, I decided to have fun with orange, brick red and neutrals such as linen, sand and ivory. A new furniture layout and selections as well as fresh fabrics will not only brighten the room, but offer a comfortable space for two, or several when entertaining.

Hope you enjoyed this sneak peak!

  2. We’ve just relocated our store from Ottawa to the lovely Toronto! Aside from that excitement we’ve also redecorating our new apartment. Cannot tell you how happy I was to see the beautiful oranges and rusts in your blog today …. Our mid century mad men Style Garage sofa is crying out for a snappy fall colored rug. Fell in love with a stripped one from Stark at Elte only to find out it was discontinued 2 years ago! Oh well, the hunt is always the best fun.

  5. I LOVE the colour palette you chose. It’s going to be gorgeous…just like mine!!!! I’m ironing linen drapes and hanging them right now. I carried the beautiful paint colour from my living room through my entry and upstairs. Then I used the other paint option you gave me for the kitchen. It’s FAB-U-LOUS. I’ll send photos soon.
