let’s learn: buying original art segment on BT Calgary

I had a great time on BT Calgary yesterday sharing tips on buying original art. If you missed the segment, not to worry, you can watch it online. Here I am with Ted just before we went on air. Thanks to Glenn for snapping the photo and for all his help with getting set up!

In the midst of nerves and complete absent mindedness, we missed acknowledging the Herringer Kiss Gallery for providing the art (hangs head in shame). Thank you Deborah!

You’ll find more tips in the current issue of Dabble, Reality Check column.

I’m back!

Hello! I’ve been absent for a while and missing my blogging platform and social media friends. Work as been extremely busy so blogging has taken a bit of a backseat I’m afraid. I also just returned from a family vacation (more on that in blogs to come) and have now hit the ground running again. Kids are back to school tomorrow so today is going to be busy preparing for a crazy (but exciting!) week ahead.

I admit my head is spinning these days. So many things on my mind regarding work. Decisions to make, inspiring ideas I have that now require implementing, thoughts about where to take my business next, all the while wondering when I’ll find the time to sort through them and make the changes I want to. My office desk is clean but my head is full of virtual paperwork, a whirlwind of ideas and thoughts.

I’ve got a lot of exciting things coming up. Installations, photo shoots, an ‘on assignment’ trip to a tropical destination for Dabble Mag and of course the many fabulous projects I have on the go. I’ll be keeping you well informed along the way as I get back to regular postings.

Tomorrow, I’ll be on Breakfast Television talking more about buying original art as seen in the latest issue of Dabble. My segment is at 7:52am so tune in if you are able! I’ll be sharing more images on my blog and updating my portfolio with photos from this shoot later in the week so please check back.

Right after I’ll be racing home to finish preparing for a photo shoot with Avenue Magazine. I’ve been a busy little bee lately pulling the remaining details together and receiving my last delivery today, just in time! They’re shooting my lower level for the June issue so stay tuned.
