Project Sneak Peek: Small Space European Style Ensuite

If you’ve been following along my Instagram feed or Facebook page you may recognize this bathroom we’ve been working on. We embarked on two bathroom renovations in an old, three storey home with loads of charm and character, so you might imagine we are dealing with small spaces. (Actually one is a closet turned bathroom transformation…more on that in another post.)

The original master ensuite had little to no storage, a small tub/shower and an adjoining closet open to the bedroom and considerable space restrictions. Re-organizing the space, we separated the closet from the bedroom, utilized the space better and shifted the bathroom to accommodate a vanity with storage as well as a longer tub.

Our client loved the idea of having a european influence with interesting details and embraced the restrictions a small space often comes with. Our jumping off point was a patterned floor and from there we built the room. We are near completion! Counters were installed last week and plumbing fixtures will be next on the list. We have decorative details to cover such as hardware and accessories before I hope to photograph and share the final result.

I can hardly wait to see it all together!
